The flat sided Bushido Deep combines Japanese styling, Brazilian durability and American cranking heritage to create a profile that excels in cold water scenarios when you need a slightly larger lure that will bump the bottom in 6 feet of water. The most immediately noticeable feature of its design is the cut-away keel, which provides several key benefits. First, it holds the belly treble hook flush, which means you can crawl this lure through jagged rock and bring it back to the boat every time. Second, the keel keeps it on track as you pull it free from any sort of bottom cover, including mud and clay. That provides a trigger for lethargic fish that may not otherwise be inclined to strike.
The Bushido Deep strikes a slightly larger profile than its baby brother, with the flat sides of the bait and the unique semi-rounded bill creating a distinctive vibration that resonates with a fish’s lateral line, creating a large presence.
The Bushido comes in Standard and Deep models, so you can offer up the same productive body style and action in two distinct depth ranges as the bite changes throughout the day.
As with all Water Wood crankbaits, each Bushido Deep is water-tested, tuned and completely inspected before being put in the hands of serious anglers. The custom lip made of CB G10 circuit board combines with the indented belly to keep the wobble tight and on course.
